Okay, the emo-ness has died down somewhat, so I figured I would post something I did when I was fooling around with Photoshop and I wanted to distract myself from the ANGST.

Once more, here is Xianxi... only, oh my goodness gracious! Can it be? Yes! It appears that KBJ FINALLY got off of her lazy ass and did some more coloring! The picture was simple enough, so I decided to ink this baby, and I finished it in a day... the coloring was inconsistent, so that process is harder to measure. However, the background was, believe it or not, the easiest part of the picture, and added on a whim.

I couldn't be happier with this colorization. It really makes the picture pop out of the paper in my opinion, and it showcases Xianxi's coloring. However, if you wanna see an awesome colorization, look at 's gallery. She has a colorized picture of Xianxi up.

Xianxi (pronounced Zee-yan-zee) is the longest-living Warp Aci of Keaton's, as most of them have either been 'removed' from this plane in one way or another due to an accident in a carelessly-assigned, dangerous task, or have just been stripped of their postion and sent back home when Keaton grew tired of them or they didn't satisfy her perfectionist standards.

As you can see, Keaton's a rather frivolous person, and demands only the finest efforts from her Warp-Aci, who she treats as her subordinates rather than anything else. If anything, Xianxi is the closest thing to that standard of monotone obedience she's summoned so far. Xianxi is a very stoic creature, dedicated solely to obeying its orders and carrying them out with discipline and efficiency. Pumped full of brainwashing emotions and thoughts that have completely erased his former self, he now exists only to serve both Keaton and the legacy of Clan Jyraneth, and nothing else. Because of this, he constantly tends to his mistress's every whim, feeling restless whenever he's left idle, and even degenerating into desperate insanity. While resolute on the outside, he suffers from lack of self esteem and an almost disturbing need to serve, and Keaton likes it that way--especially the fact that he would do ANYTHING that she demands from him, no matter how outrageous or unscrupulous.

Not to mention his schizophrenic, servile, somewhat insane nature.

Trivia:
- Xianxi is modeled after the clan leader of Keaton's clan, Jyraneth. She was rumored to resemble an anubis of some sort, so it became the legendary icon of the clan. The heads of Keaton's wing-tentacles are designed in a similar way.
- Xianxi doesn't tolerate failure of any kind, especially his own. He never speaks unless spoken to, and even then only opens his nonexistent mouth when Keaton permits it, or when she is talking to him.
- Xianxi is stronger than the average Warp-Aci, thanks to the spell that summoned him. However, he is still not strong enough to ursurp dominance from Keaton--and even if he could, he wouldn't dare to. He only has enough power to get the job done, and to at least put up a fight against potential threats.
- Xianxi modifies his tail so that way the two prongs forking the tip fuse together before he teleports people and things.
