Artist's Comments

There are all sorts of mistakes and imperfections in this picture, which I've tried my best to correct via Photoshop, but the magic of the mouse and my normally infinite attention-to-detail can only go so far. Marathons of Soul Calibur III and looking over screenshots and previews for the upcoming Soul Calibur IV game with my friend (who is currently over) spawned this picture, which was drawn up while we were watching wrestling. Ah, male homophobic sport. Wonderful pastime, it is.

Honestly, I've only drawn Tira once, and that was for the :icontirafan: Christmas competition (which I looost oh noes no not really I actually don't mind), so I decided to sketch her up. A simple sketch developed and flourished into this baby. Originally her expression was much more timid, but I decided that wasn't enough. I made it more manic (as I've imagined her). Then I thought she needed a ring-blade in there to befit her expression...

God I adore her hair and expression. I would give myself a hug if I weren't so... vacant at the moment. So instead I'll go remove my drawing hand for massacring her ring-blade so horribly.

Brb, gotta go find a hacksaw.

EDIT: For those who are curious, Tira is ONE OF THE ULTIMATE PSYCHOPATHIC CHARACTERS. I RP as her, I'm currently writing a fanfic chronicling her past history, I have a folder containing all manner of art depicting her, and I'm fantastic at her in the game... yes. I'm slightly obsessed. She needs more art.

Tira ish a goddess :worship: The ring blade looks good to me. Though I'm not too good at drawing them myself I tried to draw the Ixion onec and it turned out all crummy on me. <.<

I wouldn't call Tira TOO much like that, just... immature (a forced demeanor of childishness) which is her ultimate characteristic besides insanity. But with immaturity comes overconfidence and the attitude you described, so... yeah, she's a bit of a bitch but she's AWESOME. XD
