* Drawing: Probably just an hour! This was a simple drawing. * Inking: A bit longer; despite the drawing's simplicity, inking's a bit complicated. * Coloring: An hour. Currently Listening To: "Navras" - Juno Reactor VS Jon Davis This was my entry in a Neopets Beauty Contest. YES, I PLAY NEOPETS. YES, I'M A NERD. I didn't win the contest, but a lot of people liked the picture and I got some great support, so it was worth it. I got in sixth place, with 59 votes, whereas the winning submission got 339 votes. I'll probably give this another try, but with a more detailed picture with a better resolution. Too bad Neopets has resolution constraints, otherwise I'd go all-out. I can't bear to see my work get smushed. Either way, this is my Mutant Korbat, Nyx. I'm still working on her design. And I'm still learning how to draw non-anthropomorphic, cute cartoony animals. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Seriously though I am envious of your ability Keaton, this is an excellent pic and the fact that it didn't take you that long is a testament to how good you're getting.
